Maintaining a 4.0 GPA during this quarantine has been one of the biggest challenges I’ve faced in the last year. Not only did I have to learn how to structure my school time by myself but I’ve had to change a lot of habits in my daily routines. I won’t lie, it was very hard the first semester because I had to administrate my life and my sister’s life as well. After having a careful introspection and thinking about what things I could have done differently this semester I decided to plan ahead. For example, if I knew I had a busy week I would finish the assignments due a week prior to their deadline.

Doing an assignment and recognizing the values it adds to your character is important, but I believe it is more important to have a balance; a balance between my school life and my personal life. After changing my habits and balancing these 2 things I noticed a big difference in my performance during my second semester. Although this is not a school assignment I do consider this an adaptive learning skill.
