Team Central's Success

Over the last 2 years I’ve been working on improving how Team Central can be better and more entertaining. During December, me and the team created a stream setup that was like nothing we’ve seen before. We created a code that looks for specific words that the viewers type on live chat, then it sends it back to our computer and that activates a special image or sound live on stream. We created this in order to solve the great issue within live broadcasts, which is that they get boring and aren’t really interactive. We used this stream setup in our christmas stream in which we had over 200 total views and an average of 19 constant live views.

Later on, when we were in an investor showcase, a guy that worked on FresnoUnified told us that people would be thousands of dollars for what we created because Twitch doesn’t do that by itself. We created a tool that would work as a plugin and we didn’t realize it was so important until someone else recognized it. Now, Team Central will shift their focus on this tool. We will attempt to patent this tool and make it user friendly so we can sell it as an a plugin for stream setups.
